Born in Chisinau in a family of musicians, Ana STREZEVA began her studies at the Musical Colledge ,,Eugen Coca,, which she graduated in 1972 with two specialties - piano and music theory. In 1978 she graduated the Conservatory "P. Tchaikovsky" from Moscow, the faculty of theory, and in 1980 - the organ, which studied with Professor Leonid Roizman.
Since 1978 till the present she works at the Organ Hall, she has performed over a thousand recitals. She has performed in all the ex-USSR republics, in Europe (Romania, Hungary, Finland, Germany, France) and in the United States.
Also from 1978 she is a teacher of music theory at the Musical Colledge "E. Coca", then at the Musical School "S. Rahmaninov", at the present time being head of section at this institution. In 1994 she founded the "Barocco" Ensemble, bringing together the most talented high school students in a formation that includes aerophones, strings, piano. The works and transcriptions of the musical texts for the different components of the ensemble also belong to Ana STREZEVA.
In addition to the original organ music, the organist's repertoire includes many other masterpieces of instrumental and vocal music, transcribed for organ performance. Often the recitals of STREZEVA end with improvisations on topics proposed by the spectators.
During her artistic activity, Ana STREZEVA accompanied all the stars of the interpretive art from the country, the artists who have in their repertoire creations with the organ, she concerted with many artistic-choral groups, orchestras, different instrumental ensembles.
Ana STREZEVA, People's Artist of Republic Moldova (2013), has performed extensive concert programs, presented abroad, with the soprano Maria Biesu, with the masters Vasile IOVU and Gheorghe ZAMFIR, the latter evolving on the stage of the Organ Hall in Chisinau, a memorable event in the history of the musical life of the capital.
